about me

My name is Khunn Oo, but people know me as Edgar. While I am based in Queens, New York, I am originally born and raised in Yangon, Myanmar (Burma). I graduated from the University of Hartford in Connecticut in May 2023, earning a B.S. in Audio Engineering Technology and an A.S. in Computer Electronic Engineering Technology along with a minor in Digital Media Technology. I am currently working as an EvTOC (Technical Operations Center) Engineer at Evertz. Before my current role, I was most recently the assistant chief engineer for the student-run television network, STN2 and a lead engineer for the student-run record label, RedTail Records located at my university.

 

While technology is my main facet, I also have a musical background as I played the bass clarinet and tenor saxophone during my time at my high school for the symphonic band and jazz band. On the side, I have also worked on recording and mixing for my friends’ music.
